We stayed in Olongapo City Inn for one night only we arrived in Sunday, sometime in July 2012. We transferred to Granny's Inn the next day (Monday) before going to Pundaquit Zambales for Island Hopping. We transferred because we wanted to be closer to SM and SBMA (Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority).

City Inn's Standard Room costs P1000 per night, this is one of the best value accommodation in Olongapo City with air-conditioning, hot/cold shower, security guard, cable TV, and a decent facility.

City Inn only accepts cash for all payments, credit cards are not accepted which is a little puzzling because they market their facility as the best choice for corporate and leisure travelers. Nevertheless if you need to be near Victory Liner Onlongapo Terminal and looking for a partly budget accommodation then this is perfect!

City Inn's Standard Room looks like this:

You see the bed is just average - it doesn't stink (if you are particular with the smell). Air conditioning works perfect, TV is okay, the room has a cabinet for your luggage - no hangers. The toilet is found on the right as you enter the main door of your room. It has hot/cold shower. Overall cleanliness of the room ? It is not thoroughly clean, just okay.

Some more things you may need to know:

City Inn Olongapo is an Affiliate company of Arlene's Inn. Arlene's Inn have three branches in Olongapo, one is just a block away from City Inn. 

Arlene's Inn like City Inn does not also accept credit cards.

Since Olongapo City Inn is close to Victory Liner, noise coming from the terminal maybe be heard from your room. So if you have sleeping disorders, request for a room that is away from the window.

To reach SM Olongapo from City Inn, just ride the yellow jeepney from the main highway not far from City Inn. Jeepney fare was 8 pesos.

Win Hotel is on W 18th St. It is somewhere behind City Inn which could be a better choice if you need an upgrade. Win's standard room is about 1,600 pesos, of course room is better just a bit smaller than City Inn's standard room. Win Hotel offered 20% discount for Victory Liner passengers with a proof of ticket, please verify if promo is still ongoing.
