Baclayon Church is one of the historical icons to see in Bohol, this was declared a National Treasure in 1995 it is one of the Philippine's oldest churches. Also named as the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception.

Baclayon, originally called "Bacayan" is the first municipality in Bohol established by the Spaniards.

 Baclayon Wharf is about 5-10 minutes walk from Baclayon Church. You will be passing this church if you are going to the Baclayon Wharf to visit the peaceful Pamilacan Island. Same if you are coming from Bohol and going to Panglao Island.

If you are coming from Bohol, this is about 45 minutes to 1 hour away.  You can get a tricycle willing to provide the transportation for you. Often, this attraction is usually a part of the city tour in Bohol.
